“Care At Home” is the name of the home care visiting service developed by the not-for-profit company, Help for Carers. The company has over 30 years’ experience providing care at home services to clients across London and Surrey. Originally known as “Crossroads Care,” “Care at Home” was launched in 2017.
“Care At Home” service is currently available in the London Borough of Merton.
We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We were inspected by the CQC in March 2016 and were awarded a “Good” inspection report. A copy of the inspection report is available at the foot of this page.
We operate two local Care offices, one in Lambeth (Brixton) and one in Croydon. In Lambeth we provide a young carers support service, information and advice, signposting and support for carers with mental health needs.
Our Croydon centre supports carers by providing free social events, advice and advocacy, support groups for working carers and a Carer Assessment service.
Our Board of Trustees meets bi-monthly and is responsible for the strategic direction and policy of the company. Board members are voluntary and have a breadth of knowledge, skills and experience to help determine the company’s future.
